Hakol Hinuch, the Movement for the Advancement of Education in Israel, was founded in response to the needs for reform in the education system in Israel. The participants in this initiative, from a broad range of professions and backgrounds, feel the magnitude of the responsibility to advance the education system in Israel. Despite the diversity among us on multiple issues, we have formed one movement seeking to generate a long-term, significant process that will include strengthening public education, developing a value-oriented foundation for the education system, empowering the school principal and the teacher, ensuring the rights of the student to a safe and secure environment, etc.
The membership of Hakol Hinuch includes leading lecturers from the academic world, together with leading business figures actively involved in civil society, school principals, teachers, education activists, foundations and NGOs operating in the field of education and civil society, with religious and non-religious individuals alike. We believe that, together, we have the capacity and the power to introduce change and improvement to the infrastructure of the education system in Israel. Literally, Hakol Hinuch means "it's all education" – and that is what we are all about: advancement of education for the advancement of Israeli society.
